Functional Responsibilities:  Works under general direction on complex application problems involving all phases of functional (statistical) analysis to provide resolution.  Operational Research Analysis tasks are normally in financial management, human resource management, installation management and education.  Provides direct support to consultants and other senior personnel conducting consulting activities utilizing creativity and sound judgment involving unusual and complex management and technical problems.  May provide supervision to other staff.  Develops and updates operating manuals outlining established methods of performing work in accordance with organizational policy.  Trains clients to user personnel in the operation and capabilities proposed models. Provides expert level guidance on assigned tasks.  Normally the Functional Analyst works in one area expertise.  Within the financial management field, a functional analyst would work programming issues rarely working budget or execution issues.  However, ERLUKE Consulting requires functional analysts to work as a team member in other than their primary area of expertise.
